Polyester hats that caused headaches and nose pain

1. Family’s new hats

It seems like walking can be most enjoyable in the spring. My wife and I have been taking our baby for walks to a nearby river since the beginning of the spring season in 2022. So we required hats to shield ourselves from the sun when we were out. But I told her not to buy my hat. This was because she didn’t care whether polyester hats caused our family to have headaches or not.
But she couldn’t resist because it was so inexpensive. She bought hats for every member of the family. Everyone in our family had new hats in an instant. When I looked at various types of hats, my wife’s and my baby’s were made of cotton, but my hat was black, made of polyester, and had a nice design with lots of holes in it. I asked her to give it a wash because the new hat was made of polyester.

2. Review of wearing hats made of polyester

1) Polyester hats caused headaches when walking

On Saturday morning, after the baby got out of bed, we had lunch and went for a walk to a nearby river. There was a cool breeze when we arrived at the river parking lot with a bag that held hats. After getting out of the car, we walked around the river and put on our hats. But after ten minutes, I started getting headaches. For a moment, I thought that it was because the polyester hats caused headaches.

We nevertheless carried on taking photos and strolling along the river. And something felt wrong with my nose. My nose hurts, too, and I could feel it. After returning from our walk by the river, I removed my hat, but the ache in my body persisted. The symptoms I had during the walk vanished after about four hours. I’m not sure how much washing it will improve symptoms. After giving it several washings, I wore the hat while strolling beside the river. And I felt like the intensity of symptoms on my body was lessened.

– Entry to Haslla Art World

At the end of June, approximately two months later, my family decided to visit “Hasella Art World” in Gangneung. Early in the morning, the entire family got up, packed some snacks, and left for the destination. Before I knew it, spring had turned into summer, and it was so hot that I was only wearing short sleeves. Naturally, I also brought the black hat my wife got to protect me from the sun. I put it on the end of the passenger seat because it seemed to be releasing chemicals into the air.

Our family arrived at our destination and went inside Haslla Art World. The slope at the entrance was too great. In addition, we had to park our car on a slope slightly away from the entrance due to the large number of visitors that day. And I wore the hat and held my infant in my arms in a baby belt. Also we entered Haslla Art World, my wife pushing the stroller. We bought tickets for entry and entered. She and I received cards that give us two more visits to the park over a two-year period, as well as a thirty percent discount, because we lived in the Donghae, Gangwon-do. We got inside and began to move around. Moving around the building with a stroller was difficult for us because it has several floors.

– Having headaches when looking at the art

I noticed an artwork inside the building that was modeled after the Statue of Justice. This piece of art made fun of how the regime affected the law according to its tastes. I felt so empty staring at the piece of art. While it is true that everyone should be treated equally under the law, one form of corruption that needs to be eradicated is the arbitrary application of the law based on greed and power.

After that, we went to the on-site cafe, ordered beverages, and enjoyed them. There were string-based artworks on display at the cafe. I was unable to understand the meaning of the string artworks. Still, it appeared like a great deal of labor went into creating the artworks. At the same moment, I had headaches discomfort. Personally, I thought the headaches were caused by chemicals released from different art pieces.

– The reasone why headaches caused

At that time my infant started sobbing really loudly. He was sobbing, and my wife and I, didn’t get across the exhibition hall even halfway, felt very embarrassed. We talked it over as the parents and made the decision to leave the building. We emerged from the building and sat down at a table beneath trees that provided shade as I held him in my arms. The tree’s shade allowed us to enjoy a comfortable rest for a while.

I rested for a while, and even outside the building, I was still experiencing the headaches from earlier. At that time I hurled the black hat that I was wearing onto a chair that was more than a meter away. And eventually the headaches disappeared. It was the black hat, not the artworks, that was causing me to have headaches in the building. Even after giving the hat several washes, a few amount of chemicals still seemed to be released. Therefore, wearing a hat in an area with stagnant air influenced on me to have headaches as chemical allergy.

3. My hope for polyester hat

My wife and child were out, strolling, while I was napping beneath a tree’s shade. I thought this place at Haslla Art World was great because I could see the sea. It sounded like the guests were from all over the nation based on what they were saying. We had to end our viewing of the artworks and make plans for another time because of the baby’s condition. And I was hoping that the quantity of chemicals coming out of the polyester hat would decrease when I wear it again. So I expect not to have headaches.
